The Great Obama-Clinton Race

I watch with wonder on how much emphasis is being placed on the Democratic campaign between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
There is so much news time devoted to these two candidates, it makes you wonder if anyone out there on the recieving end of the news media, even knows there are other candidates to consider. John McCain's name has almost been a silent word mentioned in silence in the alleys or byways. The news media has expended more energy on the contest between these two Obama and Clinton, one is left with the feeling that the only two people the race is coming down to, is not a Democrat versus a Republican or any other party. To me, it seems we are left with one of two selections, Obama or Clinton for President. The worse part about it all, is rarely were any other candidates from within the same parties rarely mentioned. When it came down to the Republicans, the press easily brushed off Ron Paul, and worse than that very few even knew that Alan Keyes was running on the Republican ticket. In my personal opinion both of these silenced candidates had much more to offer and much more in intelligence and real opportunity for change than all three of the "biggies" now. It's amazing how we can't even imagine these races aren't somewhat fixed, with the media drill that is applied to our brains everyday. I know mine feels like there is a big gaping hole there, and the media just keeps on poring in the unholy cement mix of Obama or Clinton. Which will it be?
Sorry John, I haven't had much time to think or consider you lately, it has been weeks since I even heard your name. For goodness sake, get your campaign managers to at least to stir up some controversy against these two so we can find out if you are really out there still or not. Are you still running for President?
